Jason has been practicing law since 2000. He worked as a Crown Prosecutor from 2002 to 2014. Jason has prosecuted and defended some of the most serious and complex types of cases including Murders, Robberies, Frauds, Sexual Assaults, Drug Trafficking and Break and Enters.
Jason was formerly a search warrant instructor for the police. He was also a designated agent for the Canadian government for wiretaps. Jason joined the firm in August 2014 and provides clients with representation for all levels of criminal and drug-related charges. Jason also practices Real Estate Law.
Robin Snider has been practicing law since 2003. She started her legal career in Nova Scotia as a defence lawyer, and moved to Alberta to work as a Crown prosecutor (2007 until April 2016). As a criminal lawyer, Robin has prosecuted and defended many serious and complex files including murder, robberies, aggravated assaults, break and enters, impaired driving causing bodily harm and death, and sexual assaults. She has developed a specialization in the area of sexual assaults, particularly those involving children. Robin also has vast experience in the area of domestic violence and was involved in the development of the Intimate Partner Violence training course for prosecutors
As a prosecutor, she conducted a variety of training sessions and was a frequent presenter at legal conferences and RCMP seminars, specifically in the areas of sexual assaults, domestic violence, and impaired driving. Robin has a comprehensive knowledge of criminal law and court procedure and represents clients in all areas of criminal law.
Randy joined Red Deer Law Group as a partner in October of 2018, practicing primarily in the field of Criminal Law. He represents clients on a wide variety of charges from common offences, such as theft, assault and impaired driving, to the most serious offences such as drug trafficking, sexual assault, impaired driving causing death and murder/manslaughter.
Prior to joining the firm, Randy was a Crown Prosecutor for the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service in the Wetaskiwin and Red Deer offices. He has successfully prosecuted cases at various levels of Court including the Provincial Court of Alberta, and the Court of Queen’s Bench including trials by jury.
Before moving to Alberta in February of 2013, Randy began his legal career practicing in Prince Edward Island primarily in Family Law and Criminal Law.
